Stop Torture Banner Project: Now with direct ordering through RHR-NA!

Take a public stand against torture! RHR-NA and K'vod Habriot have joined with the National Religious Campaign Against Torture (NRCAT) to bring the anti-torture message to congregations across the country. Order a Stop Torture banner to hang in your community!

The 2008 banner project is an important witness against torture that will also generate critical discussions in our communities. What does it mean to honor the image of God in every person? Are we willing to take a public stand against torture in our sanctuaries? June is Torture Awareness Month, and it is the goal of RHR-NA and NRCAT to have banners hanging in every state, as well as D.C. and Puerto Rico.

RHR-NA has designed a banner with the slogan of the Jewish Campaign Against Torture for use in Jewish communities. The banners are available in two sizes: 2 x 6 and 3x9. We can also provide you with a customized banner that includes your community's name.

Once the banner is up in your congregation, let us know or send us a picture! We would like every community to be counted. Let the Jewish voice against torture be heard!

To order a banner, please email RHR-NA with the name of your community, which banner you would like, and shipping information. We will contact you to confirm details and to arrange payment. Please allow about a week for the banner to be produced and shipped.
