Rabbis for Human Rights–North America supports the mission and work of Rabbis for Human Rights in Israel. In North America, RHR-NA raises awareness and advocates for the human rights of Israelis and Palestinians and offers hands-on human rights tours to Israel and the West Bank.

Campaign for Bedouin-Jewish Justice in Israel

In 2010, Rabbis for Human Rights-North America, in collaboration with the Jewish Alliance for Change, launched the Campaign for Bedouin-Jewish Justice in Israel.

The campaign seeks to mobilize Diaspora Jews and the North American public to work for an end to the demolition of unrecognized Negev Bedouin villages and the expulsion of Bedouin Israelis from their homes. Rabbis for Human Rights-North America and the Jewish Alliance for Change are promoting a mutually agreeable negotiated solution to the plight of Israel’s Negev Bedouin citizens. We are working closely with our colleagues at Rabbis for Human Rights in Israel, along with several non-governmental organizations in the Negev, on this campaign. Our Israeli counterparts are mobilizing activists and Bedouin community members on the ground in pursuit of justice.
