RHR Executive Director Rabbi Arik Ascherman Tours the U.S. in Honor of Israel's 60th Anniversary

We've published his schedule below so you will be able to attend an event in your area.

Friday, May 9, 8:00 P.M: Kabbalat Shabbat at Temple Beth Am, 2632 NE 80th Street in Seattle, Washington.

Sunday, May 11, 11:00 A.M: Congregation Ahavath Beth Israel, 11 North Latah Street, Boise, Idaho.

Wednesday, May 14, 7:00 P.M: Workmen's Circle Cultural Center, 1525 South Robertson Blvd., Los Angeles, California.

Thursday, May 15, 7:30 P.M:  Parlor meeting at the home of Wally and Suzy Marks.  Rabbi Ascherman will speak about "Silwan in East Jerusalem."  (Please email office@rhr-na.org if you would like to attend.)  

Sunday, May 18, 9:00 A.M: Beit Midrash on Israel's Declaration of Independence, Temple Beth El, 105 Hudson Road, Sudbury, MA.

Monday, May 19, 6:00 P.M:  Parlor meeting at the home of Paul and Ellen Grobman.  Rabbi Ascherman will join several additional RHR-NA rabbis in honor of Israel's 60th anniversary.  (Please email office@rhr-na.org if you would like to attend.)

Tuesday, May 20, 7:30 P.M:  Rabbi Ascherman speaks about "A Rabbinic View of Human Rights in Israel" at Temple Chizuk Amuno, 8100 Stevenson Road in Baltimore, MD, sponsored by the Tikkun Olam Advocacy Group.

Wednesday, May 21, 7:30 P.M: Rabbi Ascherman will be speaking on "Israel at 60:  Freedom, justice and peace as Envisaged by the Prophets" at Congregation Emanu-El B'ne Jeshurun, 2020 West Brown Deer Road in River Hills, WI. 

Thursday, May 22, 7:00 P.M: Lecture "Israel at 60: Making the Declaration of Independence a Reality" sponsored by Middle East Peace Forum of Pittsburgh at the Jewish Community Center, 5738 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
