In Pursuit of Justice: Two Trees Campaign Launched

Pursuing Justice: Two Trees Initiative is part of RHR-NA's In Pursuit of Justice yearlong campaign to celebrate Israel's 60th and RHR's 20th anniversaries, and to promote justice, freedom, and equality for all who live in Israel and under its jurisdiction - Jewish and Arab alike. Funds raised through this initiative will be used to plant trees in impoverished neighborhoods in Israel and in the West Bank. Download the flyer that you can reproduce and distribute. For twenty years, Rabbis for Human Rights has worked to realize Israel’s founding vision by protecting the human rights of all. Rabbis for Human Rights:
- Replants olive trees that have been illegally uprooted on the West Bank and protects the rights of Palestinians to safely farm their lands.
- Advocates for economic justice for all Israelis.
- Defends Palestinian homes from demolition and discriminatory zoning.
- Educates Israeli students and soldiers in the Jewish tradition of human rights.
Celebrate the vision of the Israeli Declaration of Independence. Plant justice in Israel for all – Jew and Arab alike – and nurture the possibility of peace and reconciliation. Help us to plant trees in Israel and on the West Bank. Join Rabbis for Human Rights’ Solidarity Mission November 9-19, 2008 The Two Trees Initiative has been picked up by Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) and also by the popular JewSchool blog. Please continue to spread the word.
